This scheme has been launched as part of the Malta Recovery & Resilience Plan following the COVID pandemic and is intended for those businesses planning to invest in digital technologies and other related processes within their company in particular hardware, software (off-the-shelf or custom-made), digital solutions, and installations including training costs aiming to improve efficiency, productivity and customer experience.
There are various economic sectors that are eligible but proposals coming from within the Manufacturing and Tourism (including culture) industries shall be given priority.
The maximum grant value is set at €200,000 with the aid intensity ranging from 10% to 30% depending on the applicant’s size and the location of the investment. The total budget for this scheme is that of €10,000,000.
This scheme will remain available until the 31st of December 2023 subject to the availability of funds and all work must be finalised by 30th June 2026.
