This scheme encourages business owners to invest in their businesses by expanding and innovating to continue developing their operations. This is available through a tax credit calculated as a percentage of the eligible expenditure.
A tax credit equivalent to 45% of eligible expenditure in favour of each business, may be approved by Malta Enterprise. Additional bonus of 20% (total of 65%) applies to all firms operating from Gozo.
The opportunity to apply for this scheme is available until the 10th April 2024
