The aim of this measure is to mainly support start-ups that are a good demonstration of a good and viable business idea and that are willing to commit themselves to expand and develop further their economic activity.
Assistance Type:
Repayable Loan – Does not exceed €500,000 (€1,000,000 if Start-Up is deemed innovative). If the business is operating in an assisted area, it may receive up to €750,000 (€1,500,000 if Start-Up is deemed innovative).
Eligible Costs:
- Payroll Costs
- Procurement of Assets
- Procurement of Materials, and of specialised and Technical Services
- Costs incurred towards establishing an operation in Malta
