The scope of this scheme is to provide assistance to manufacturing firms in Gozo by reducing operational transport costs incurred for transporting materials, goods, and finished products between Malta and Gozo.

The maximum grant value that can be offered is €200,000.

This serves as assistance to mitigate the cost-disadvantage, enabling these businesses to enhance their competitive stance within the single market by supplying them more effectively.

The deadline of this scheme was on the 31^st of December 2022 and the Aid Grant will be granted by the 31^st of December 2023

This incentive can be a great opportunity for those start-ups that would like to improve their business productivity.

This scheme will part-finance 50% of the eligible costs with a minimum funding amount of €10,000 and maximum funding of €400,000. Investments in Gozo will benefit from a 10% aid intensity.

SMEs who have been registered for 5 years or more are eligible for this scheme.

Application should be received by the last deadline on the 30^th of November 2023.

This is a scheme that supports undertakings in financing participation in accelerator programs.

This scheme supports businesses that have a viable business concept based on sound technical and scientific know-how and are in the process of developing the technology into a market-ready offering.

Start-ups eligible for this scheme may receive up to €100,000 to cover costs related to the founding of the start-up venture in Malta.

Interested businesses in this scheme are required to first get in touch with Malta Enterprise to discuss the project in detail. A tailored application will be provided should the project qualify and meet the requirements in the established incentive guidelines.

Applications will not be accepted by later than 31^st of October 2023.
