Receptionist / Administration Assistant

Forming part of the Administration Unit, we are seeking to engage a Receptionist / Administration Assistant on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is a confident and self-motivated person who can work on his/her own initiative in a pro-active manner, taking ownership of his/her responsibilities in this role within the team with minimal supervision.

This position comes with the following core hours required to cover the reception duties:

08:00 – 16:00 from Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 – 14:00 on Friday

Duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Reception duties
  • Digitising files
  • Archiving
  • Filing
  • General office administration

This is an interesting and challenging position for a person who:

  • Has a minimum O’ level standard of education
  • Is ideally in possession of relevant secretarial or office administration qualifications
  • Has a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative position
  • Is fluent in both written and spoken English and Maltese (both are required)
  • Is computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is a fast learner able to work in a proactive manner with minimum supervision?
  • Is well-organised and has an eye for detail
  • Is meticulous and responsible
